Libraries in La Porte ISD support student learning across all campuses.
Reading helps students build vocabulary, think critically, and develop a love of learning. Our libraries offer a variety of books and resources to engage students and support their growth.
In alignment with our vision to empower every student to become a lifelong learner and passionate reader, La Porte ISD is committed to ensuring equitable access to library resources while respecting family values. Parents of students age 17 and younger have the opportunity to personalize their child’s library experience by de-selecting materials that may not align with their family’s preferences.
Together, we can continue to cultivate a meaningful and positive reading experience for every student.
