He was a man of deep faith, generosity, and compassion, often found with a cup of coffee, a warm smile, and a listening ear between calls. Randy’s greatest goal was simple: to leave everyone he met better than he found them.

A faithful servant of God, Randy supported others and numerous charities even during his own hardships. He cherished his family, loved time on the water, and lived with unmatched character, integrity, and work ethic.

Randy believed deeply in the calling of nurses, often saying, “Firefighters are Angels and Nurses are Saints, and somehow, by the grace of God, I get to work in between them both. ” He felt humbled to witness God at work every day through emergency medicine and these selfless people.

This scholarship is awarded in his memory to a student pursuing nursing, with the profound hope that you will carry forward Randy’s legacy of faith, compassion, and selfless service to others.
