The Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR) pull together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. Performance is shown disaggregated by student groups, including ethnicity and socioeconomic status. The reports also provide extensive information on school and district staff, programs, and student demographics.
Annual Performance Report
In accordance with TEC 39.306, La Porte ISD produces an Annual Performance Report to close out the previous school year. This report consolidates a variety of information shared with the Board and the community throughout the school year.

Section 2: PEIMS Financial Standard
The Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) financial report includes actual financial reports prepared for the district.
La Porte ISD also received a FIRST rating of A: Superior Achievement in 2022.
Section 3: District Accreditation Status
The Texas Education Agency accredits public schools in Texas at the district level for grades K-12. Each district receives an accreditation status annually.
Section 4: Campus Performance Objectives
Texas Education Code 11;253 requires each campus to have an improvement plan with performance objectives and to measure progress toward meeting these objectives.
Section 5: Special Education Determination Status
This label represents an integrated determination level status based on an evaluation of each local education agency’s (LEA) Results Driven Accountability (RDA) indicators in the special education program area and four Federally Required Elements (FREs), which include the State Performance Plan (SPP) compliance indicators 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13; data integrity; uncorrected noncompliance; and financial audit findings. Each LEA receives one of four special education determination levels (DLs):

Section 6: Report on Violent and Criminal Incidents
Districts must annually report information about violent or criminal incidents that occur on each campus including specifics on the number, rate, and type of violent or criminal incident that occurred on each campus, to the extent permitted under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.
Section 7: Student Performance in Postsecondary Institutions
TEC, §51.403(e), requires postsecondary institutions in Texas to report student performance during the first year of enrollment after high school graduation to the high school from which students graduated.
Section 8: Progress Towards Meeting HB3 Goals
Districts must include the progress of the district and each campus in the district toward meeting the goals set in the district's early childhood literacy and mathematics plans as well as the college, career, and military readiness plans.
