SCHOOL HEALTH ADVISORY COUNCIL

Interested in Joining SHAC? We'd Love to Have You!

The School Health Advisory Council is an integral part of the LPISD family.  We are always looking for new parent and community members. For more information on SHAC's activities, you can read the LPISD wellness plan, meeting agendas, or meeting minutes using the links on the right side of this page.

You are more than welcome to contact Katherine Yarbrough at (281) 604-6953 with any questions or to learn more about why SHAC is important.  If you're interested in helping guide the health and wellness of LPISD's students, staff, and community you are welcome to attend and participate in our four yearly meetings.  Thank you for your time and your interest in SHAC.  Please have a great day.

We are proud to announce that the La Porte ISD SHAC has received the Award for Excellence in School Health from the Texas Department of State Health.  This award has allowed the district nursing team to expand the Stop the Bleed program.
