For 14 years, Dee Anne has served as a Master Trustee. She graduated from Woodville High School and attended Lamar University and San Jacinto College.
Throughout her years of service, she has been a PTO officer and volunteer, an officer with the Friends of the La Porte Library, a member of the LPHS baseball booster club, and has directed the Miss Sylvan Beach Scholarship Pageant for 20 years. She is a strong supporter of Fine Arts programs and a graduate of the La Porte Police Officers' Citizens Police Academy. Additionally, she serves as a mentor through heLPs.
Dee Anne's professional work has focused on the maritime and logistics industry, encompassing port, rail, and trucking sectors.
She has been married to Tommy for 26 years and they have two sons, both of whom are proud graduates of LPHS, along with two cherished grandsons. Dee Anne enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and researching. Her motivation to serve on the school board stems from her belief that public education is the great equalizer. Driven by a passion for children and a desire to provide them with the best opportunities for success, she advocates for classroom teachers and strives to determine what is best for kids. Dee Anne views the trust the community has placed in her to serve on the board as the honor of her lifetime.
