Six La Porte High School Lady Dawg basketball players capped the 2024-25 season with All-District honors, including three players who were named to 20-5A’s First Team and eight players earned Academic All-District accolades

Head Coach Elisha Thompson, meanwhile, was selected as the Coach of the Year for leading the team to a district championship.

Jakayla Glover, Isabelle Rodriguez and Sophia Rodriguez garnered First Team honors, while Kaia Greenawalt and Esme Soto grabbed spots on the district’s Second Team. Honorable Mention honors went to Kynlee Arechiga.

The 2024-25 varsity team won the District, Bi-District and Area Championships and was a Regional Semifinalist.
