La Porte ISD students will begin next school year on Aug. 13 under the 2025-26 instructional calendar, approved on Dec. 10 by the Board of Trustees. 

Additional calendar highlights: 

• March 9-13, 2026 – Spring Break 

• Oct. 10, 13-14 – Student Holidays   

• May 21, 2022 – Last day of instruction
