The La Porte High School Bowling Team is State bound for the second consecutive year after placing third in the Regionals on March 2. 

La Porte joins Pasadena Dobie and Katy Taylor as the teams representing the region at the Texas High School State Bowling Tournament on March 29 in San Antonio.  

The Bulldogs qualified for State this past year with a runner-up finish at the Regional Tournament and finished 16th in Texas. Austin Goetz, who was a junior at the time, finished eighth in the in the state in singles competition.
